Anime
For the longest time, I dismissed anime for the same reasons that everyone dismisses anime - weird people watch anime. Or, from my own experiences, weird white people who wish they were Asian watch anime. Plus, Pokemon, Sailor Moon, and Dragonball Z did not help add any credibility to the genre.
But this year I discovered a different kind of anime. Darker themes, more fluid artwork, mature...
